Join us for all day classes starting each day at 9 AM with Todd's scale workouts and end each day with teacher/student jam sessions with rhythm section from 7-9pm.  The songs we will be working on at this workshop are Just Friends, Green Dolphin Street, Autumn Leaves and Mr. PC.

This year we chose the Palace Station Hotel for our jazz workshop.  It’s a beautiful 3 star hotel just off the fabulous Vegas Strip and just a few miles from McCarran International Airport and Downtown Vegas.  The hotel offers a regularly scheduled shuttle to both the Fashion Show Mall on the Strip where you can catch the monorail to explore the Strip.  The hotel also offers an hourly shuttle to and from McCarran airport.  With almost a thousand rooms the Palace Station offers from budget friendly courtyard rooms to luxury suites.  The hotel and casino extends an unbeatable combination of quality and value.  Enjoy their liberal casino with sports book and bingo, a variety of restaurants certain please everyone’s tastes, several bars and lounges, a comedy club plus 2 sparkling pools, Jacuzzis, a fitness room, business center, and more. 

Rooms and meals are not included in the workshop fees. Book your rooms at the Palace Station by January 24, and you can receive special room rate of $37.00 on Thursday & Sunday night, and $64.00 for Friday and Saturday night for the Courtyard rooms.  The newly renovated Tower rooms feature modern décor and views of either the Las Vegas Strip, downtown Las Vegas or the surrounding mountains and are priced at $54.00 on Thursday & Sunday night, and $80.00 for Friday and Saturday. Additional fees apply for more than two people per room and incidentals charged to your room. 

If you are flying in, you can check on flight and hotel packages for the Palace Station Hotel or other local hotels that may even save you more.  Just be sure you have transportation to the Palace Station to attend the classes.

A $50.00 refundable workshop deposit will hold your reservation and lock in your rate so book now.  $359.00 until January 1, 2012, $399.00 after.  Any remaining balance is due by February 1, 2012.

At the workshop we use actual tunes as a vehicle to illustrate jazz concepts that can be carried over to other tunes.  Become familiar with the tunes, you will have the opportunity to perform them with a rhythm section during the teacher/student jams  You will receive charts for the tunes when you sign up.

9am -  Morning Scale Workout with Todd (get your fingers ready to play)

10-12 - Guitar or bass song class

2-4pm - Guitar or bass song class

4pm -Wild Card Class

5pm- Dinner**

7pm- Teacher/Student Jam

**2 hour breaks for lunch and dinner to eat, practice, snooze, gamble or whatever you please.
