I just wanted to thank everyone for their help when I have a question. It's a good thing when you don't see or hear the ego trips.

Thanks

I agree Stang. This board has a really good group of people. We don't always post often, but there are usually helpful comments without the egos.

What a nice set of earthlings we all are! It would be great if you guys could all come over for a cup of coffee and loads of music of course. I live in Robin Hood Land, Nottinghamshire, UK.

Hey Johnny, THanks. If I didn't live "across the pond" in the US, I'd come over for coffee and a jam session.

We were in England in 2001 and had a great time. I want to get back there soon.

Don't stay in a hotel Rich - there's plenty of us on the board that will put you up. But we might talk about playing and gigging more than hotel staff. (haha)

Rich, I'll put you up in the land of Robin Hood. All you have to do is kick-start my jazz guitar playing. My noggin is hurting at the moment from your lessons. I guess I'm trying to cram too much in - I love them so much. I've been playing guitar for 30 years but jazz for only 3 years.

Oh yeah, and then you'll have to come and be blessed at our New Life Christian Centre.

Thanks for the hotel offer. I will definitely take you up on that. Do you guys know of any clubs a trio could play?

I certainly do Rich - the fabulous SANDS VENUE jazz restaurant which is only 12 miles from me. Just google in the Sands Venue, Gainsborough, Lincs, UK. I've seen some great artists there including Cleo Laine and John Dankworth and the amazing Ed Thigpen and his Scantet. Ed was Oscar Peterson's drummer and played on the seminal Night Train album.

Yep - there are certainly ways to work out all that before you came.
