Hi Stang,
The send on the amp will go into the input plug on your effects box. The out from the effects box will go to the return on the amp.
Basically, the send and return is from the preamp stage of your amp (before the power amp). This should creae a cleaner signal to the effects as opposed to the usual (going from guitar to effects to amp).

Hi Stang. Yes, the guitar will just plug into the amp input.

The big issue is on the send and return you are using more voltage than the micro volts a guitar alone puts out. That means you'll be getting less background hiss and interference and than going guitar, to effects, to amp. If you have a send and return use it.
