99 CENT GUITAR LESSONS
August 1, 2008
99 CENT GUITAR LESSONS As an experiment I’m posting 4 video download lessons for only 99 cents each to see how many of you this appeals to. They are each around 10 minutes long and can be downloaded as a wmv file for Window users or mp4 for Mac (Quicktime) and IPod users. The lessons are explained in detail so a written version is not necessary. They are perfect for those interested in learning jazz as well as those already playing jazz but are looking for some new ideas. EITHER WAY THE PRICE IS RIGHT! BEBOP vs BLUES Learn the difference between a blues chord progression played in the rhythm and blues style or rock & roll style and that of a Bebop or Jazz style. This is essential for an aspiring jazz guitarist. BLUES COMPING WITH WALKING BASS LINES Have you ever wanted to play the chords and a bass line at the same time? Here’s your chance. This is a must for players who play without a bass player. You can apply these moves to many other tunes. BLUES COMPING WITH MELODY version 1 Start playing the chords of a blues progression and create melody lines at the same time with some new jazz chords. This is a good place to start your jazz comping. . BLUES COMPING WITH MELODY version 2 Continuing with comping ideas this lesson further expands the concept of melody within your comping chords. A very cool comping arrangement. Please post your comments about the lessons and the price on the discussion board, let us know what you think. Check out these lesson and thanks for your involvement.
