I've just checked out Rich's new Chord Licks video on 99Cent downloads. Holy Cow! Great stuff. I'm a chord melody nut anyway and I'm coniunally blown away by Rich's skills and ideas. I'll be working on these ideas for awhile.

Yeah!, isn't it great. I've already learnt the free No.11 lick. You can have fun with the chords and you start to hear a song coming out. Great for improvising rubato style.

I also just downloaded the 13 chord licks and really am enjoying expanding my chord vocabulary. Great lesson Rich.

Chord Melody and fingerstyle is definately the way to be going if you want to get those solo guitar gigs nailed. Even using a pick - the left hand technique will be the same. Rich's lessons on this are not an option if you're wanting to get paid solo gigs down at the restuarants, hotels, pubs and clubs. You must get chord melody sorted.
