First of all does anyone have one of these? It is a combined guitar amp and CD player with dozens of special features including changing the tempo of a CD without changing the pitch and a loop device etc etc. 60w of guitar amp and 40w for the CD player. It seems absolutely ideal for me who plays solo jazz guitar along with jazz backing discs. Great if anyone has any info on this piece of kit.

Haven't heard one yet but have seen them. Seems like a good idea until the CD player breaks

 | Agree with Rich. Keep the elements apart. Get a nice amp and then if you need a CD player get that as a separate unit. You'll have more control and more options if you use separates.

But that is just the point, they are separate units but encased in one unit. You can use it as a stand alone amp or stand alone CD player or combine them both. I have a separate CD player anyway which I would always bring as a back-up as well as an amp. The features on it are impressive as well as changing tempo but keeping in the same key. The amp has many sound features which can bring out a lovely jazz tone.

Not sure what Rich is using recently, but he used to use a sequencer rather than a looper. But I know when he did use one, it was the Boomarang. Real easy to use and more designed for musicians than technicians.
